Jane Goodall

The problem of plagiarism is a big one. Yet there are certain scales that people's plagiarism is placed on. These scales are determined by the person accused. You have the student scale based by grade. You have the adult scale based on educational background. The biggest and worst scale the famous author. Jane Goodall lands on the famous author scale.

Jane Goodall is a famous Primatologist who has writen a book, that has had some problems with plagiarism. She plagiarized websites like Wikipedia. This is a fairly major offense. Plus to add insult to injury she basically copied entire passages without giving credit. Overall Jane Goodall's offense was a bad one.

  1. I agree with your post somewhat, Cameron. However, you do have to consider that there were only around 12 instances of plagiarism (which, in my opinion, helps to support that they were accidents).
