Music

For this post I chose the Ac Dc classic highway to hell. I saw a lyrical base of a trimeter which was anapest. This song begins with liv-ing easy, liv-ing free so you can obviously see the anapest trimeter there. It continues throughout the song. This shows that this sang is meant to be sung quickly and evenly.

I found that there was a pattern of consance throughout this song. This I believe gives it the rough feel that the lyrics entail. The relation of Hs gives the song like  a hissing sound that you would hear from like a car engine. And the song is about highways and cars and such. This repletion of hs gives it the mode that fits.

  1. What you noticed about the h sounds being like a hiss is really good. I wouldn't have thought of that.

  2. Cameron, I'm not sure if I see anapestic trimeter here - can you explain more? Also, please include a link to the lyrics.
