The Light of the Night

The Sun slowly creeps out of sight
Reds and oranges bleed into the night
A bright black is falling upon the land
As the moon rises above the reddish orange band
This is the time where the night is brightest
Because the darkness cannot fade the lightest
Part of the day, where the light is slowly going away
When white turns to gray
But gray turns to black
This black corruption takes the night back
To its dark state of no sun nor light
It creates the darkness of night
Where the owls hunt and cry
While we sleep to try
To avoid the dark murky
 Color that covers the sky.
