How did the Tactics in the Revolutionary war affect the outcome? This question is one that has be asked many times. Most americans believe that the militia out fought the British. But truly they out smarted them. Ib the beginning of the war the American's were losing the battles yet they were not losing numbers like the british were. Why did this happen? The British military deployed a tactic that placed their men in ranks and within the ranks they stood in strait lines. This tactic allowed them to fire constant rounds at very high rates in to a small area. Yet it lead to venerability that caused many soldier to perish in battle. This cause a depletion of british troops affecting their strength in other encounters ultimately causing the british to falter and for the Americans to take what they thought to be their's.
